Polish TBH: Fantasy & Linda's Nail Vinyls

Polish TBH: Fantasy

Linda's Nail Vinyls

Hello on this very cold, but sunny day! If you're where it is warm, then lucky you! Ha ha :D Today I am reviewing a new indie polish I purchased not long ago; Polish TBH: Fantasy and a new way of doing nail designs...without all the hard work and hassle; Linda's Nail Vinyls.

Fantasy is a gorgeous pink; almost purple shade. It's packed with gunmetal/greyish blue glitter in different sizes and tiny shimmer. Below shows a photo of the bottle and a close up of the polish itself.

Below is a photo of my nail vinyls I had purchased from Linda. From Left to right I have chevron (regular size) pack of 100 for $3.00, french manicure pack of 100 for $3.00, and striped (straights) nail vinyls pack of 200 for $4.00 and always FREE shipping.
For my manicure today I used the chevron nail vinyls.

Below shows my manicure. I used two coats of Polish TBH: Fantasy on my pointer and pinky fingers and topped them off with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl Top Coat. For my accent nails I used two coats of OPI Passion nail polish and Polish TBH: Fantasy. (See pictorial photo below for complete directions on how to get the chevron look.)

Below is a simple pictorial showing how to apply the nail vinyl and polish. First, I applied a base coat and let it sit till it is completely dried. Next, I applied two coats OPI Passion nail polish and let that sit till completely dried. After that, I applied the chevron nail vinyls and applied two coats of Polish TBH: Fantasy. I then immediately removed the nail vinyls carefully with a tweezer while polish is still wet and then let it sit till completely dried. Lastly, I applied Glisten & Glow's HK Girl Top Coat.

You may get as creative as you desire with these nail vinyls. They are very easy to apply and remove. Linda made sure they were easy to use before opening her shop and selling them. She too had trouble with creating certain designs and getting them to look perfect hence, why she came up with Nail Vinyls. So check them out for yourself! Websites to these products mentioned are below. Happy shopping and Happy Holidays! :)

Star Dust Polish: SImply Mad & Serum No. 5: Pink Lantern & Day Glow

Star Dust Polish: Simply Mad &

Serum No. 5: Pink Lantern & Day Glow

Hello my fellow viewers! Today I am reviewing several indie polishes. I have here Simply Mad by Star Dust Polish, Day Glow and Pink Lantern by Serum No. 5.

Simply Mad is from Star Dust's Alice in Wonderland Collection. It is a lovely bright pink based polish that is also a thermal. It changes from pink when cold to clear when warm. It also has many beautiful light pink, purple, and silver glitters in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

Below is my manicure showing on the left side, Simply Mad when cold and on the right, when warm. I had layered my polish by using Serum No. 5's Pink Lantern then, I had layered Simply Mad over it. For my accent nail I used Day Glow and topped it off with April Showers, both also by Serum No. 5. Pink Lantern and Day Glow are glow in the dark polishes. Pink Lantern glows to an orange color and Day Glow glows to a green color. For a top coat I used Glisten & Glow's HK Girl Top Coat! It's my #1 go to for top coats!

Below is another  swatch I had done with Simply Mad using Ethereal Lacquer's Neon Nectar, and Sinful Colors Cotton Candy as undies prior to painting with Simply Mad.

Victoria Dao; Founder and Creator of Serum No. 5 is a genius! The glow in the dark polishes also glow in shaded areas too! Below shows on the left photo my mani in bright daylight and on the right, it shows it starting to glow when the sun started to go down.

The glow pigments Victoria uses are awesome! Even the polish in the bottle start to glow if charged enough in the sun or light.

Below Shows my mani glowing in pure darkness. I charged it under my lamp and turned off my lights in my room and BAM! It glows so bright, I can light my way around! I never had a glow polish glow this bright, and I love it!

Below shows the polishes glowing while in their bottles. These are so fun to wear!

I love all of these polishes I used for this mani! To purchase these beauties check for availability on the owners' websites. Have a great day everyone! :)

Polished by KPT: Blue is Beautiful

Polished by KPT:
Blue is Beautiful

Hello fellow viewers! Today I am reviewing a polish called Blue is Beautiful by: Polished by KPT. It is a gorgeous dark blue thermal that turns to a grayish white shade when warm. It has beautiful holographic tints along with shiny blue bits. I did 2 coats of a white undie, 3 coats of Blue is Beautiful, and top coat.

I used Sinful Colors: Snow Me White as an undertone for Blue is Beautiful. Snow Me White is so far my favorite white polish to use. It helps from hard to remove polish to stick onto my nails. I do also use a clear base coat, but sometimes certain colors still go through and stain. This polish however; I had no problems with it staining.

For a top coat I used Rica's Glossy Glam top coat. Only had to do one coat. Helps apply a great shine and gloss to this polish. Blue is Beautiful does dry matte, so if you love the gloss look more, be sure to have a nice gloss top coat.

Below shows Blue is Beautiful going through its transition. It turns to a grayish blue color. It all depends on the color you use underneath. You can use the polish on its own, but it may take 3-4 coats to build opacity.

Below shows more of the transition of Blue is Beautiful. It turns completely white/gray when under hot temperatures. If your body temperature is just at warm you may get that ombre effect; which is when the nail tips are still cold but the rest changes according to your body temperature.

Overall, I love the polish. My only complaint is it needs some nail polish thinner. It may have just been the batch mine came from, but it was quite thick and not easy to paint with. Other than that, I love the color. Blue certainly is beautiful! :)

Provided below are the websites in which you can purchase the indies I had mentioned. Happy Shopping! ^.^

Sindie POP! Lacquer: Lavender Storm and Dark Side

Sindie POP! Lacquer:

Lavender Storm and Dark Side

Hello everyone! Today on my blog I am reviewing two Sindie POP! Lacquers; Lavender Storm and Dark Side.

Lavender Storm is a beautiful lavender purple based polish flowing with all sorts sized turquoise and blue glitter. It's a definite glitter bomb!

Below is a close up so you can see how nicely the glitter sits on my nails. Jessica; the owner/maker of Sindie POP! loves putting hearts on her labels. She makes sure to always put love and care into every polish before and after they are made and packaged to their new homes. :)

Below is my manicure using natural sunlight as my lighting for this photo. I love how the glitter shines in the sun! I used 3 coats to build opacity and Rica's Glossy Glam top coat to help seal the glitter. You want to use a good top coat for these glitter bombs or else you may lose your good manicure. I recommend using Rica's Glossy Glam or HK Girl top coat. Links to these top coats are on the bottom of this blog post.

I like to show what a difference natural sunlight photo shots look like compared to using flash. The photo below shows on the left side Lavender Storm using flash, and on the right is natural sunlight. The polish is more true on the right side.

I did the same thing with the photos below as I did above. Left photo shows Lavender Storm with flash and right photo is in natural sunlight.

Next up is Dark Side. It's a gorgeous black based polish with tiny galaxy like glitter. This polish is perfect for doing galaxy nails with the orange, blue, purple, green, and silver glitter.

Below is a photo of my manicure using 3 coats of Dark Side and one coat of Rica's Glossy Glam top coat; which is pictured in the photo.

You can see Glossy Glam doing her thing; shinning my nails. She also dries fast too which is great for me! I'm always doing something, so need a fast dry top coat! All I used for lighting in these photos was my desk lamp; which worked perfectly to show the gloss finish and the true colors of Dark Side.

Overall, I love these polishes and all others in my Sindie POP! Lacquer collection! She never disappoints! So check them out as well as Rica's Glossy Glam and HK Girl by Glisten & Glow.

Liquid Sky Lacquer: Twilight Peacock and Mystical Peacock

Liquid Sky Lacquer:
Twilight Peacock and Mystical Peacock

Hello viewers! Today I am reviewing a new brand of indie polishes I never tried before; Liquid Sky Lacquer by Carolyn. I have here from her many polishes from her line, Mystical Peacock and Twilight Peacock. They are duo chrome polishes. They both look blue or purple depending on the light with orange goldish tints except Twilight Peacock has holographic pigment mixed in.

My mani below shows all my nails painted with Twilight Peacock except for my ring finger. I painted that finger using Mystical Peacock. It took 2 coats to build opacity, but used a 3rd to just be sure it was solid. I did also use a top coat; which is Glisten & Glow's HK Girl Top Coat. I have mentioned it before in previous posts. I highly recommend trying it out, it's a great top coat!

Below you can definitely see the holo of Twilight Peacock when I used my flash on my iPhone 5s.

Do I think the holo version is better than just the duo chrome? I love both, couldn't make up my mind which one to use or purchase, but I do love holo! I still can't get enough of the holo polishes. Duo chrome is making its way to the next popular thing to have on your nails.

Do you have a favorite kind of polish? I'd like to hear from my viewers.

Attached below are websites where you can purchase these polishes mentioned above.

The photo below was taken using flash.

Below is a close up of Unicorn Love.

Disturbed Potions: Boobies Rule & Sluts Go Nuts

Disturbed Potions

Boobies Rule & Sluts Go Nuts

Tiffany here with a new blog post today! YAY! Today I'm reviewing Disturbed Potions by a lovely individual; Margaret. She makes polishes, body lotions, bath salts, soaps, lip balms, and more! She does give some of her items disturbing names; hence the name of her brand. I love her products and the names she gives them, so I am not bothered by it at all.

From her many polishes she has I am reviewing "Boobies Rule" and "Sluts Go Nuts". Boobies Rule is a gorgeous bubble gum hot pink shade with big white circle glitter and small pink and white circle glitter. It's one of her new releases; which I was excited to get my hands on!

Below you can see I used HK Girl Top Coat. It is also an indie brand polish made by Glisten and Glow. I have attached the website at the very bottom of my post. It is an awesome Top Coat and I recommend trying it out. It helped seal in the glitter, smoothed it out evenly, dried super fast and lasts for up to a week! For more information on it, check the website.

Below is Sluts Go Nuts. It is a beautiful glitter packed polish in a clear base. She had mixed in four different glitters to get this final look, and it is awesome!

Below is my mani using Sluts Go Nuts over a lavender glow in the dark polish called LOVEnder by Polish Me To Go; which is also by an indie polish maker, and the black polish is called Liquid Leather by China Glaze. I love the space look it gives over the black. It also gives life and fun to a plain solid polish.

Just like Boobies Rule, I used HK Girl Top Coat to seal the glitter in this polish as well. The left photo is with flash and the right photo is in natural sunlight.

Overall, I love how both manis came out and I love all the polishes I used. Check these ladies websites out if you support indie polish makers and indie product makers. You will not be disappointed by them.

Different Dimension: PPD #1443

Different Dimension:
PPD #1443 (Memorial Polish)

Shop Owner Missi Barry created a polish for a customer and friend, Jini who lost her brother Fredrick. Fredrick was with the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) and his badge number is #1443; hence the name of the nail polish. A portion of the proceeds goes towards the PPD to help provide the canine unit with bullet proof vests.

The color represents the uniform color the PPD wear; which is a beautiful shade of  dark royal blue and is packed with all sorts of shapes and sized blue glitter and silver micro glitter. It is all in a blue jelly base that can be worn alone in 3 coats or can be worn over a solid based polish. I do recommend wearing a great top coat to seal in the glitter. It is a glitter bomb!

Below shows how shiny and glittery the polish really is. It is so pretty and sparkly! I am in absolute awe with it!

Below is a close up so you can see a better view of the glitter and color.

I love this polish! I love the color blue and if you do too, then this is one polish you would love as well!

There is a more thorough article that inspired Jini to have this polish made. It can be found on Missi Barry's shop: Different Dimension Check the website out for this beautiful polish and more!

I will definitely cherish this polish. I have such great respect for those who risk their lives everyday to help others. My father was with the NYPD for 20 years, he is retired now for a few years already. He has gotten hurt a few times on the job, so I know how that feels when you don't know if your loved one is going to be okay when they come back from work. I also have a great respect for the canine unit and the bond that those dogs have with their partner who guides them and trains them so well. A big thank you to those who help protect their citizens and love doing it.

Nail Polish Central: Talia Joy

Nail Polish Central: Talia Joy & Lime Crime: Parfait Day

Tiffany here! It's been quite a while since my last blog post, but I am back! Showing off today is Nail Polish Central's Talia Joy and Lime Crime's Parfait Day.

Lime Crime's Parfait Day is a very bubble gum pink shade. A gorgeous pastel based polish. It's opaque in 3 coats. Nail Polish Central's Talia Joy is a red jelly polish that has gold shimmer. It's also a thermal! It changes from red when cold to clear when warm. I used it to top over the Parfait Day polish. Talia Joy is a polish made in honor of Talia who passed away from cancer. The proceeds went to Base Camp; a charity she loved and helps other children with cancer.

Below is a close up of the shimmer in Talia Joy.

Below is the Transition of Talia Joy.

Below is the before and after putting Talia Joy over Parfait Day.

Talia Joy looks more pink when topped over a pink a polish. It's a bit of a shifter depending on the polish you put under it. I absolutely love them both! They are perfect for Breast Cancer awareness events as well as just being a fan of the color pink! :)
You can check out  the website: Nail Polish Central for availability or other shades and thermals you may enjoy. For Parfait Day and other beauty products check the website: Lime Crime

Ps, I am slowly working my way back on blogging. Please bear with me here.
