Loaded Lacquer: Megalodon

Loaded Lacquer:
Megalodon

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been MIA a bit. Work has been life consuming and taking me away from my hobby. :/ I know it is no longer Shark Week. I had planned on releasing this blog before Shark Week, but things happen.

This beauty I have here is called Megalodon, by Loaded Lacquer. It is a lovely medium gray with blue tint and has blue, light blue, and silver glitter with silver and white triangles for shark teeth! It also has shimmer  How awesome is this polish?! Below is my manicure. I did two coats and did some fishing for the triangles and placed them on the very tips of my nails. I then used a top coat to seal all the lovely glitter to prolong my manicure.

Below is of my manicure at another angle.I took all of these photos outside with my Sony Cyber Shot so you can really see the shine, shimmer, and glitter of this beauty! It also shows how true the color is in real life.

Below I have a close up of my manicure. I am holding a cuticle bottle. I recommend trying Bliss Kiss: Simply Pure Nail Oil. It is such a great oil for your nails. It has definitely helped with my nail growth, added hydration back into my cuticles and nails, and cleaned up everything wrong going on with my nails. It has been 13 weeks since my last nail break! I am so pleased by these indie nail care products. The second photo on the right is a close up of all the glitter in the bottle. I love the way it shines! Such a perfect blend of colors.

Below is the same photo as above just all on its own. The bottle comes with 15ml of cuticle oil and the tip is a drop nozzle for easy application. It does not drip out when put away in your drawers or taken on the go. I bought the scented version; which smells just lovely! She does have an un-scented version if you prefer. :)

Over all, I love Loaded Lacquer's polish of Megalodon. It really does remind me of the very famous Megalodon that once lived...and may still be living somewhere out there... ;) Hope you Shark fanatics enjoyed Shark Week, I sure did!

Links to Loaded Lacquer is below as well as Bliss Kiss. Unfortunately this beauty was a limited time only for Shark Week. I am not sure if she will restock it. You can always contact the maker through the website.

Sea Lore Polish: Aquaversary and Enchanted Eric Feat. Fat Lacquers

Sea Lore Polish:
Aquaversary and Enchanted Eric
Featuring Fat Lacquers

Hello everyone! Happy Monday! I am off from work today so I'd figure I do a blog while I have the free time for the time being. :) Hope you all had a great weekend. Today I am sharing with you Sea Lore Polish's "Aquaversary" and "Enchanted Eric" by Jamie Lohr.

Sea Lore Polish recently celebrated their two years of business by creating a lovely limited edition polish called "Aquaversary". Pictured below; It is a gorgeous light blue creme polish with shimmer mixed in and holographic pigment. Enchanted Eric is a clear based polish with glitter hexes in blue, gold, and white with tiny white stars. This beauty is based on the character; Prince Eric from Walt Disney's "The Little Mermaid". I mainly bought it because not only do I love the polish and the movie, but it is also my boyfriend's name. :) hee hee. I always call him my Prince Eric. <3 (Back to polish now :D)

Below is of everything that came with my Sea Lore package. She packed in sweet treats and confetti! I love it when indie nail polish makers put thought into their packaging and business cards. Look how adorable Jamie's business card is! I keep all my business cards I am given and made a collage of them all. ^_^

Below I have two coats of "Aquaversary" and did a glitter gradient using "Enchanted Eric". I did do the dabbing method to spread the glitter and a bit of fishing and glitter placement for the stars. For top coat I used two coats of Fat Lacquer's Drive Through Top coat. I am holding the 7.5ml bottle of "Enchanted Eric" It is the mini they sell usually for $5.50

Below I am holding "Aquaversary" which is in its 15ml bottle. This is the full size bottle they sell usually for $10.00

Just one last photo to show but at another angle. I love the way my manicure came out! I love the polishes and the applications were great. I love that I did not have to struggle to get opacity for "Aquaversary" and I love that it was not difficult to get out stars to do my glitter placement from "Enchanted Eric".

Below, you will find the websites to the polishes I mentioned. Keep in mind these are indie polishes; which means they are hand made and some are limited editions like "Aquaversary". If items are sold out, please contact the makers or follow them on their social networks. Happy Shopping and enjoy your week! :)
