Sugar Bear Hair Review

Sugar Bear Hair
Review Part 2

Hey everyone! I have updated photos of my continued use of taking Sugar Bear Hair. If you have not read my first blog post on Sugar Bear Hair, I recommend checking it out first before reading this one. My first part goes into more detail introducing you to the vitamins and what they are all about. This blog post is to just continue sharing with you all my further results I have up to date.

So, a couple months back I was gifted a lovely surprise from Sugar Bear Hair. They sent me a 6 month pack of their vitamins and their new cosmetic bag with cute stickers and a hair tie featuring their logo! Was a total shock to me! I am still so grateful for the set today. I absolutely love the vitamins but could not afford them after using up 3 bottles previously. This definitely has helped me to get closer to my hair goal.

Just a little recap to my hair before, I provided below photos of my hair when it had been a month after I cut my hair in October 2015, and what it looked like 5 months later in March 2016. This was before I was taking Sugar Bear Hair, before I even heard of the brand. My hair had very little growth all on its own. This was not normal for my hair to slow its growth to a point where there was not much of a change in 5 months passing. My sister was the one to point it out to me that my hair looked the same length for a while. It was clear to me that there needed to be a change to my routine and vitamins had to be added.

The next photo shows my 5 month progress taking Sugar Bear Hair vitamins. As you can see, I got more noticeable results taking the vitamins versus not taking them. With the vitamins I also noticed less hair falling out in the shower or when brushing, more volume, and definitely more hair growth. For shine, I have been using jojoba oil and Renpure: Coconut Whipped Creme leave in conditioner.

Below is a photo taken March 6, 2017. I'm holding some strands of my hair down so you can see how long it is if it were straightened. I am trying not to straighten my hair so much these days. It was my main reason for cutting my hair so short. I used to straighten it so much that it got split ends, fried, dried and frizzy. I won't put my hair through that again.

Below is a recent photo. I'm holding my new bottle of vitamins. Lipstick is Ofra Cosmetics: Charmed; in case anyone is wondering. :)

Last photo is a comparison of my hair length from July 2, 2016 to March 6, 2017. I am very pleased with my hair's improvement. I have not just solely relied on the vitamins to help my hair to grow. I try my best to drink more water, wash my hair in cool or warm water, give my hair massages when washing, and not wear it up or in tight hair styles too often. Do remember, everyone's hair and body is different and will react differently and experience different results. These are my personal results and my real hair in its natural state. Remember to be kind to your hair and it will show a difference in health. Have a great week everyone!

Sugar Bear Hair Review

Sugar Bear Hair

 Review

Hi everyone! It has certainly been a while since I really blogged. I thought I make my comeback by reviewing a product that is different than my usual blog posts. This product has been receiving a lot of attention and curiosity on social media. I am going to talk about Sugar Bear Hair vitamins! I have been noticing my hair has not been growing back from my haircut I had back in September. I came across these vitamins around February, I saw a post of someone posing with the bottle and I found the Instagram page. I then did a bit of research. The product is still fairly new so, it was not easy finding reviews but I did find some reviews from other bloggers, YouTube, Instagram, and the website reviews itself. It was around March I ordered and started my Sugar Bear Hair journey.

Sugar Bear Hair vitamins are chewable gummy vitamins that are gluten free, gelatin free, soy free, as well as cruelty free and vegetarian friendly. They have more than just biotin to help promote healthy hair. It also contains coconut oil and blue dye. If allergic to these ingredients, then I do not recommend using. I do recommend taking a look at their website under their Ingredients section for the full list of vitamins and ingredients. They explain further on the vitamins and what each one is good for in helping your hair, skin, and nails.

The vitamins are chewy like gummy fruit snacks and taste like berries. Each bottle comes with 60 gummies and you are only to take 2 each day. It does not matter at what time, you can take them together or separately and before or after eating. They are recommended for ages 13 and older. I would suggest asking your doctor or child's pediatrician if they can take these if under the age limit as well as if you are pregnant and/or breast feeding. What I like about these are they smell so good, they do not have a chalky taste at all or have a weird after taste. They are very smooth to take.

The photo collage below is some of the stages my hair has gone through. July 20, 2015 was before I cut my hair. It was very long with split ends, dried out and frizzy from too much heat and from using hot flat irons. October 9, 2015 was a month after I had cut my hair. I had about 10in cut off and donated the lock to an organization who helps make wigs for children with hair loss. I had wanted to give my hair a new start to re-grow but unfortunately I went through a loss of my cat who was battling Leukemia and a breakup that caused me great sadness and a ton of stress. It showed in my hair because it had not grown much for months and I had a ton of hair fall. I think it was around February I heard of Sugar Bear Hair and came across their Instagram page. I purchased my 1 month bottle to try it out and see how I would like it and got it within a week in March. March 12 I took my before photo showing how droopy and not so spiraled my curls became. March 18 I saw improvement to the volume, curl formation and shine of my hair. I did start to only use coconut oil and take in more water to help prevent breakouts from the biotin. For washing products, I only have been using Curly Wurly shampoo and American Cream conditioner from Lush. I am currently using Argan oil since it can absorb into the scalp where as coconut oil just sits on the scalp.

I was so happy with the improvement to my hair, I ordered a 2nd bottle and wanted to show what my hair looks like when straightened so you can see just how long it has gotten from when i had cut my hair. April 19, 2015 was a few months before I had my hair cut. You may be able to see how dry and frizzy it was from constantly using my flat iron. September 12, 2015 was the day I had my hair cut. It was just touching my shoulders when straightened. March 17, 2016 was 5 days into taking the vitamins. My hair did grow a bit on its own but, my issue was all the hair fall I had was preventing it from growing any further. April 15, 2016 it grew another 1/2in.

Below is a photo of my hair fall I saved from when I would wash and comb my hair. You may notice white bits in the hair ball, that is just shredded coconut from my Lush Curly Wurly shampoo. It is made with real coconut pieces and coconut oil; which is great for curls! It comes out as you condition, comb and rinse your hair. Anyway, From left to right My hair fall has shrunken since using Sugar Bear Hair. 2 weeks was prior to using the vitamins as well as 1 week. The 3rd hair ball was 7 days taking the vitamins and I waited till I was 17 days in to show another because I didn't want to save so many hair balls! Look how much smaller it is! I have never seen my hair fall have such a reduction in all my years! It is truly amazing to me.

Below is a photo taken April 19, 2016. I was taking my 2nd bottle of Sugar Bear Hair.

Below, this photo was taken June 4, 2016. My hair has definitely grown out of the bob style I had and I needed a trimming to even the edges out before my cousin's wedding.

This photo was taken June 18, 2016. It was a few days after I had my hair trimmed. It looks shorter since its waved from having it blown out.

Below shows my 3 month results! On the left is what my hair looked like before starting the hair vitamin journey, and on the right is the end of taking my 3rd month. Such a big difference in the curls themselves as well as shine and softness. There is more length, which will show in the next photo.

Below shows my hair straightened. On the left is a photo taken on July 22, 2016 and on the right is a photo from September 12, 2015.

Below is a photo taken July 2, 2016. I am so pleased how much volume I have and how pretty my curls are again. I don't straighten them as much anymore. I can actually enjoy keeping my hair natural.

Lastly, the photo below shows a comparison of my hair straightened to curled. It is definitely longer than what I started with. I am very pleased with these vitamins. Without its help, I would probably still have a ton of hair fall and droopy sad looking curls. Definitely look into trying these out for yourself. I recommend trying it for a month and go from there. I also recommend taking in more water if you are not drinking enough water as you should. It will help to absorb the biotin without acne breakouts popping up. I also recommend reducing use of heat in your hair and switch to natural hair care remedies. Sugar Bear Hair has some tips on their website. Keep in mind, results will vary and everyone will have different results. These are not magical hair vitamins, so keep in mind it may take some time and patience to notice a difference.

I wish you all luck if you decide to try them out. I have attached below the website to Sugar Bear Hair. If you have any questions or concerns let me or Sugar Bear Hair know. Do read thoroughly through my post or search the FAQs section of the Sugar Bear Hair website first. Your question may already have an answer. Have a great week everyone!

Update: Do see my part 2 blog post for further results I have had.

Lacquer Lust: Creme Polishes

Lacquer Lust

Creamy Neutrals

Hi everyone! It has certainly been a while since I last posted on here. I am back into blogging and reviewing my precious collection of polishes. This post is a recent manicure I did just a few days ago, and am currently still wearing. You can view my older manicures that did not make it to my blog on my Instagram: @PolishesAtTiffanys or Twitter: TinyTiff418 Any way, I am sharing a review with you all on Lacquer Lust: Earl Grey and Cafe au Lait polishes.

Below is a photo of the polishes; Earl Grey at right and Cafe au Lait at left. They come in these cute boxes with heart shape cut outs so you can see the color of the polish before opening. Love how unique the packaging is. <3

I wanted to show how Cafe au Lait can look different when in different lighting. It is a nude shade polish that looks griege in certain lighting.

For my manicure below, I added two coats of Cafe au Lait first over a clear base coat and let it sit to dry. I then added this cool stamp art using plate HD-I from Bunny Nails Plates. I used Earl Grey polish for the design and a creative shop stamper to stamp the design onto my nails. I then let that design sit to dry before applying a coat of OPI Pirouette My Whistle, and then finally finished it all off adding a top coat called Glisten & Glow HK Girl. I took this photo using the flash on my camera and inside my light box. I tried getting photos that were clear without flash, but no luck.

Below another photo using flash to show the color of Cafe au Lait. It looks a tad different in different lighting. You can say it is very much like that popular griege shade we have been seeing for lipsticks and matte lip stains.

I was able to capture this photo without the flash using my iPhone 6s and the light box. Here the color shows a more cooler tone.

Below is another photo using my phone and the light box in order to get a clear shot without using flash. I love how creamy the polishes are and how nicely they applied. They can be used for stamping, but as you can see, Earl Grey does not apply as dark when stamped as opposed to painted on. Still a pretty shade nonetheless.

I don't think I have ever posted my face on any of my blog posts. I just had to show how close this polish is to my LA Splash Cosmetics lip couture; Ghoulish. If you are someone who likes to match your lipstick and nails, these two are a great match. :) Ghoulish is a lovely griege shade lip stain. Once it is applied, it does not budge; unless eating oily or greasy foods.

Below is another manicure done using Lacquer Lust Earl Grey. Goes on smooth like butter. I used a discontinued silver polish from another former indie brand as bows (used the plate mentioned above). The bow charm was from Daily Charme. Top coat used was Glisten & Glow HK Girl.

I love these polishes! They apply with such ease, the colors are great for the work place, they last at least up to a week with little chipping and I also adore the boxes they come individually wrapped in. I will have links to everything below.  Have a great day everyone!

Sugar Pill: New Unreleased Polishes

Sugar Pill Cosmetics
Supermoon & Catmosphere
 Polishes

Hey everyone! I know it has been a bit since my last blog post. sorry about that. A lot has been taking up my time. I have here to share with you all, new yet to be released polishes from Sugar Pill Cosmetics! Sugar Pill is known for their bright and awesomely pigmented eyeshadows and awesome assortment of eye lashes. They are starting to branch out more into more types of beauty products; such as nail polish! :D I was lucky to have been able to purchase these from IMATS NY. I purchased myself Supermoon (Left) and Catmospehre (Right). I wish I could have afford the whole collection but had a budget to stick to at the event. ;)

So, these polishes will retail at $13 USD each. Their website provides free shipping at $100+. These polishes are so pretty and unique. Supermoon is a lovely clear based polish with blue/purple duochrome pigment along with blue glitters in different sizes. This polish will show best over dark colors like black, deep purple, or navy blue. Catmosphere is a pretty baby blue crelly polish. It has an assortment of glitters in pink, turquoise, yellow, and white.

Below is my manicure taken in my light box. I did two coats of Takko Lacquer: Muse. It is a lovely gray polish with purple iridescent shimmer. My accent nail has one coat of Rica Polish: Blackout. Over the middle nail and ring finger nail I applied one coat of Supermoon. For top coat I used Dream Polish: Gem Glam; it's my favorite top coat to use! <3 You can see the difference when it is applied to a darker polish compared to a lighter one. It like an easy galaxy look when over a dark polish! :D

Below I added some stamp nail art using my MoYou London Fairytale plate #06. I wanted to show my manicure at a different angle so you can see the color shifting from the duochrome in Supermoon. It shifts from blue to purple.

I had too much fun taking photos of this polish. :) The polish is so pretty. I wish I took a photo of it outside the light box and in natural sun.

One last photo of this beauty in cat claw mode. ^.^

So below I have 3 different photos. One taken with flash, another without and the last one taken outside. Goes to show depending on lighting, it can change up the color slightly. I have just below a photo with flash of Catmosphere. it is not what it really looks like, too bright of a blue. I did 2 coats to build its opacity.

The photo below is a bit too faded of a blue than it really looks like.

This one below is a perfect photo of its true color. I added floral stamping from a plate that was discontinued or sold out from Fancy Gloss. I used Dream Polish: Gem Glam top coat to seal my art.

I cannot wait to add more of these beauties to my collection! I do not know when they will officially be released, but do follow Sugar Pill on their social sites; Instagram, Twitter, Facebook. They will post release dates through there. :) As for everything else I mentioned, websites are provided below! Have a great day everyone and happy shopping! <3

Nail Nation 3000

Nail Nation 3000

Hey everyone! Today I have here four polishes sent to me for review by Nail Nation 3000. I was sent I'm With The Drummer, Lukene Ice Sky, Bellerophon & Pegasus, and Amazeballz 2015. All are holo polishes and all look amazing!

First up to share is Bellerophon & Pegasus. It shows up as a light lavender holo but it applies very sheer, so I do recommend applying over a similar color or dark colors for a big pop! Below I applied one coat of B&P over one coat of Virtuous Polish: Queen Ester. I also used Rahab, Ruth, Naomi, and Magdalene for the flowers and polka dots designs. Used Dream Polish top coat over all nails except my ring finger. I took this photo with flash so you can the holo come to life.

Below is of my manicure in daylight it definitely adds shimmer and shine to plain creme matte polish.

I played with Bellerophon & Pegasus again but over another polish. I put it over Joha's Love Nail Polish: Pink Storm. It's a cute bubble gum pink creme polish and is perfect for Spring and Summer!

Below is using flash so you can see the holo again when it shines and sparkles.

Next to share is "I'm With The Drummer". Took two coats and added top coat. It is a black holo polish and would be awesome for using for a galaxy manicure! The holo looks like a million tiny stars. :)

As you can see below, the holo looks amazing when flashes of light shine on it!

Below I did do a galaxy manicure using two coats of "I'm With The Drummer" then sponged on a white polish and let it dry for a bit and added white dots for stars. I then sponged on blue and purple jelly polishes I handmade myself. I then added one coat of Lukene Ice sky over the entire manicure for a more starry holo affect. :) Lastly, I applied a coat of Dream Polish: Gem Glam.

Below is taken with flash so you can see the colors and holo pop! :D It is a very simple way of achieving a galaxy manicure.

Next up is Amazeballz 2015. A lovely hot pink holo polish this one is! It's great for summer. I did two coats and top coat. I also added a cute butterfly stamp and some heart studs.

Below I used flash to show Amazeballz 2015 with its holo shine on! Absolutely gorgeous polish. My favorite of the bunch! <3

I enjoyed having this honor of swatching these lovely polishes for Nail Nation 3000. I think they are all lovely and great for summer when the sun is shining through these holo goodies on your nails! ^_^ I have the websites listed below. Have a great day everyone!

Polish M: Garden of Wisdom and Spring Fling

Spring Has Sprung...
On My Nails!

Happy Spring everyone! Although, it does not look or feel like Spring where I am just yet, I am just glad Winter is starting to die out. I am a Spring baby, and cannot wait for what is coming this year for me. I get to experience IMATS in NYC for the first time ever! For those of you who are not familiar with IMATS, it stands for International Makeup Art Trade Show. It is not just an event for beauty makeup or everyday makeup looks, it is for FX makeup artists, makeup artists for television shows, film industry, modeling and more! Very well known people come from all over the world to show their skills and share tips with fans of their work and also big beauty brands come with their makeup goods for sale! :D

Downside is I will be missing my boyfriend. He will be away all summer and I won't see him till July after basic training is completed and then he will be away for another training session till October. :( It is something he is doing to better our future and he has always wanted to serve his country and join the Air Force. I don't always come here to type about my personal life, just wanted to let some of you viewers know a bit more about me and what will be going on that may affect my blog writing.

Anyway, back to nails now! I have here a familiar brand...but wait! Her polishes are no longer called Laquerlicious! Michelle has decided to rename her brand to something more true and personal to her and she chose Polish 'M. Polishes by Michelle. I love her decision to change it to what makes her feel more part of her own brand and that it makes her happy. Below are all the polishes I currently own from Michelle. From top row; left to right I have Peppermint Twist, A Letter From Santa, Ember Glow. Supreme Queen, Onyx Glaze, and Treasure-A Bull. From bottom row; left to right I have Garden Of Wisdom, Spring Fling, V-Day=D-Day, Summer's First Bloom, Adore-A Bull, and Lady Liberty. I will only be focusing on my newest editions; Garden Of Wisdom and Spring Fling. My other polishes here can be found throughout my blog. :)

I am wearing two coats of Garden Of Wisdom on all of my nails. For my accent nail, I am wearing one coat of Spring Fling along with some dabbing and glitter placement. Garden Of Wisdom is a lovely mint green shade with bits of small glitter in blue, yellow, purple, orange, coral and green in hex, square, circle and bar shapes. It applies very nicely for a crelly polish. I still used a top coat to seal for added gloss and shine. I used Dream Polish: Gem Glam top coat for this manicure.

Spring Fling is an all glitter bomb polish. It is filled with different shaped glitter and shimmer along with butterflies, bows and stars and in all sorted colors. I love that you can use this glitter polish over many polishes since its polish base is clear. I do recommend a good top coat to seal the glitter from falling off or getting caught into these. I used two coats of top coat to seal the glitter.

Thought I'd show a close up so you can see the glitter much closer. I was able to capture that shimmer I mentioned is in there. ;) I love everything about this polish!

To make my manicure even more of a Spring theme I added cherry blossoms. :) It is my favorite thing to see when cherry blossoms start to bloom.

Overall, I love my polishes from Michelle. I cherish every single one I own from her. <3 I will have the websites attached below for these products. If the site is down, or shop is closed, the owner is most likely setting up for a restock, taking a break, or temporarily closed to catch up with orders. Just give them a follow on their social sites like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. and keep updated till they are ready to open once again. Have a great day everyone! ^_^
