Laquerlicious

A Whole Lot Of...
 Laquerlicious!

Hello everyone! Today I am showing a lot of polishes today and I have had them for a while but just could not get around to posting up blogs for them. I decided to just put them all up in one blog. I have not ever put this many polishes of just one brand in one post before so bear with me here. :)

I am showing you today from left to right, top to bottom the following polishes: Ember Glow, A Letter From Santa, Lady Liberty, Summer's First Bloom, Supreme Queen, Onyx Glaze, Treasure-A-Bull, and Adore-A-Bull. Keep in mind I am going out of order of appearance when talking about each polish.

First up is A Letter From Santa. It is a clear based polish packed with all sorts of glitters; green, red, white, pink bar glitter, stars, circles, tiny circles, squares, hexagons and snowflakes. They are in many sizes as you can see below. This polish is what us polish fanatics call a glitter bomb! It is packed full of glitter!

I had started off my manicure with a base coat and then about 2-3 coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White; which can be found in many stores like Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc.

After letting the white base coat dry, I then painted on the glitter polish. I did a bit fishing of glitter and some placement. It was hard to get a snowflake out, but I am happy with the results any how.

I made sure to use a top coat that can hold the glitter in place and keep it from falling off or getting caught. I used about two coats of NYC matte top coat. I enjoyed this polish overall. It is a great polish to wear if you celebrate Christmas.

Next up is Adore-A-Bull, a purple based polish with tiny dot glitters that sparkle like stars in a purple sky. Not only is the polish pretty and has such a clever name, the money spent on it goes towards a good cause. $10.00 of this polish goes towards a Pit Bull shelter called Fresno Bully Rescue. This polish along with many others can be found on the Polish For Pit Bulls section of the site. Pit Bulls are one of the most stereo typed breeds of dogs. Some people fail to realize it is the owner who changes the dog for worse. They can actually be very loving dogs if trained by someone who really loves them and cares.

Below is my manicure, which took me two coats and one coat of HK Girl top coat. I love the sparkle and shine it has.

I love this polish and love everything it stands for. I wish to collect them all eventually. :) The first time I had received the polish and applied it, I had some difficulty due to it being a bit on the thick side. it may have just been the batch I got or maybe it sat in heat too long, not sure. When I had put a few drops of thinner and shook it, it was a perfect consistency afterward.

Next up is Lady Liberty! It is a beautiful medium mint green shade with gold and bronze looking glitter. Below is my manicure which was two coats and used one coat of HK Girl top coat to add some more shine.

Below is a close up so you can the glitter more.

This polish is one of Laquerlicious' best sellers! Don't miss out on grabbing this beauty! I had no problem applying this polish at all. It went smoothly, just have to be sure each layer dries before applying another coat.

This next polish is called Ember Glow. It is a red jelly polish packed with gold and red glitter in many sizes and shapes. It feels like a textured polish, but not sure if it was meant to be. Still a stunning polish though.

Below is my manicure. I did two coats and one coat of top coat using Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat. To really smoothen out I could have used maybe two.

Below is a close up of the polish in the bottle and on my nail. Overall, I like the polish just have to do thin coats for full coverage and prevent from making a glob mess.

This next polish is called Onyx Glaze. It is somewhat a blue black based polish with tiny red, blue, green, purple, and pink glitter.

I started off with two coats of China Glaze Liquid Leather. It is a black based polish and builds opacity in two coats for me.

Over the China Glaze, I put one coat of Onyx Glaze on top and no top coat. I love the uniqueness of this polish. My sister loves it too. I made her earrings and bobby pins to match. She said it reminds her of space.

This next polish is called Summer's First Bloom. It is a gorgeous light pastel pink shade with tons of glitter in pink, yellow, purple, green, blue and orange. All in pastel colors and also white stars. It also has pretty tiny shimmers too.

I did two close ups. The left is using flash and the right is using a lamp light. I wanted to show the shimmer and glitters.

I love this polish too! It is packed with glitter, it reminds me of spring, and I love the pink base!

The pretty polish below is called Supreme Queen. It is a medium grey based polish with blue, light blue, pink, green, purple and silver glitter.

The color below it is two coats of Sephora  OPI Break A Leg Warmer. I then painted one coat of Supreme Queen over it.
I did not use a top coat.

Below is a close up on my nail so you can see the glitters. I apologize for the water marks. I was testing out a new way to water mark and tested it out for the first time with this photo. I also apologize for a bit of blur. Was still getting the hang of the camera when I took these.

Last, but not least this beauty is another Polish For Pit Bulls called Treasure-A-Bull. It is a duo chrome polish polish that looks blue or purple depending on the lighting and angle you have your nails to the light.

I had done two coats of OPI Incognito in Salsulito then applied two coats of Treasure-A-Bull. No top coat was used.

It also has tiny shimmer mixed in as well. I love seeing the color changes.

I may have had too much fun taking photos of this beauty hee hee :D Wanted show a different angle.

More photos of the duo chrome. :)

The photo below is a close up of my nail so you can the shine as well as the shimmer I mentioned above.

Overall, I love this polish as well as all of the others. I recommend each one of them. Some may not be in the shop anymore if they were limited editions or holiday editions. Below I will attach the shop link. Happy shopping! :)

Wicked Polish: Fairy Blood Splatter and Fat Lacquers: Appetizer and Drive Through

Wicked Polish:
Fairy Blood Splatter
&
 Fat Lacquers:
Appetizer and Drive Through

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing some new polishes and brands I never tried before. First to welcome is the one and only Wicked Polish! It is one of the hardest indie nail polish brands to get your hands on! I was lucky to grab this lovely called Fairy Blood Splatter.

Fairy Blood Splatter is a clear based polish filled with hot pink and purple glitter in all sizes and has tiny iridescent glitter.

Below is a photo of everything I used for my manicure in this blog. I have not done nail art in a while so wanted to do one for this beauty. I used in this order; Appetizer base coat, Lime Crime Parfait Day, did an ombre with the un named Ellen Tracy red, applied Fairy Blood Splatter on top of ombre, and then topped it all off using Drive Through top coat.

The next polishes are actually a base coat and top coat by Fat Lacquers. The base coat is called Appetizer and the top coat is called Drive Through. I have been using them lately and I love them! Both dry fast and the top coat gives a great gloss and shine to my manicures. They also have low odor and do not cause shrinkage or bubbles to form.

Below you can see how the bottles look. I love the labels both front and back. It is so creative to have the "Nutrition Facts". Felicia actually puts down ingredients you would find in her nail polish and they are 5 Free!

Below is a photo of Lime Crime's Parfait Day. It is a lovely bubblegum pink shade. I did two coats to get opacity.

The photo below shows the ombre I did using the unnamed Ellen Tracy polish. I used a makeup sponge to apply it along with some Parfait Day to blend it well. The red looks more pink when blended with the light pink polish.

Below is my finished looked. You can see the shine from the top coat really show.

I love how my manicure came out! I was able to make it look like fairy blood splatter on my nails but still look pretty. :D

Here is another shot to show more of the gloss this top coat did for my nails. You can also see the red a bit better.

Overall, I love all of these polishes! I had fun putting this manicure together. I just do recommend using a good top coat when using Fairy Blood Splatter because of the big glitters.

Attached below are the websites to get these polishes. Wicked Polish at this time will not be restocked for quite some time, but I will attach the site any way. You can follow Wicked Polish on Instagram and Twitter to keep up to date when the next restock will be. Also, Lime Crime is currently sold out of their polishes as well. You can follow them on Instagram to keep up to date when their restock will be. The Ellen Tracy polish was a gift so I do not know where to get it.

Happy Shopping! :)
