Lacquer Lust: Creme Polishes

Lacquer Lust

Creamy Neutrals

Hi everyone! It has certainly been a while since I last posted on here. I am back into blogging and reviewing my precious collection of polishes. This post is a recent manicure I did just a few days ago, and am currently still wearing. You can view my older manicures that did not make it to my blog on my Instagram: @PolishesAtTiffanys or Twitter: TinyTiff418 Any way, I am sharing a review with you all on Lacquer Lust: Earl Grey and Cafe au Lait polishes.

Below is a photo of the polishes; Earl Grey at right and Cafe au Lait at left. They come in these cute boxes with heart shape cut outs so you can see the color of the polish before opening. Love how unique the packaging is. <3

I wanted to show how Cafe au Lait can look different when in different lighting. It is a nude shade polish that looks griege in certain lighting.

For my manicure below, I added two coats of Cafe au Lait first over a clear base coat and let it sit to dry. I then added this cool stamp art using plate HD-I from Bunny Nails Plates. I used Earl Grey polish for the design and a creative shop stamper to stamp the design onto my nails. I then let that design sit to dry before applying a coat of OPI Pirouette My Whistle, and then finally finished it all off adding a top coat called Glisten & Glow HK Girl. I took this photo using the flash on my camera and inside my light box. I tried getting photos that were clear without flash, but no luck.

Below another photo using flash to show the color of Cafe au Lait. It looks a tad different in different lighting. You can say it is very much like that popular griege shade we have been seeing for lipsticks and matte lip stains.

I was able to capture this photo without the flash using my iPhone 6s and the light box. Here the color shows a more cooler tone.

Below is another photo using my phone and the light box in order to get a clear shot without using flash. I love how creamy the polishes are and how nicely they applied. They can be used for stamping, but as you can see, Earl Grey does not apply as dark when stamped as opposed to painted on. Still a pretty shade nonetheless.

I don't think I have ever posted my face on any of my blog posts. I just had to show how close this polish is to my LA Splash Cosmetics lip couture; Ghoulish. If you are someone who likes to match your lipstick and nails, these two are a great match. :) Ghoulish is a lovely griege shade lip stain. Once it is applied, it does not budge; unless eating oily or greasy foods.

Below is another manicure done using Lacquer Lust Earl Grey. Goes on smooth like butter. I used a discontinued silver polish from another former indie brand as bows (used the plate mentioned above). The bow charm was from Daily Charme. Top coat used was Glisten & Glow HK Girl.

I love these polishes! They apply with such ease, the colors are great for the work place, they last at least up to a week with little chipping and I also adore the boxes they come individually wrapped in. I will have links to everything below.  Have a great day everyone!
